5 years old! What a milestone. This year has been such a big growth year for you, not only physically but emotionally and mentally as well.
What you're like at 5:
You are one of the silliest, most energetic 5 year olds I know. You have so much energy; which can be a blessing and a curse. You move from one thing to the next in a matter of minutes. Your little mind is much the same; processing a million thoughts and formulating just as many questions for mom and dad...many of which we are stumped to find answers to :) You're very logical in your thinking and reasoning skills, making you much harder to appease with our simple answers! You are such a sweet natured boy who cares deeply for his friends and family, especially your little brother. You never care if he's in your way or copying your every move. You always give up your toys for him, let him have his way when he throws a fit, slow down so he can keep up with you and offer to take him wherever you go. He often doesn't deserve your sweetness and I'm so grateful you are easy going in this way, but often feel guilty that you get the short end of the stick when dealing with your very "TWO" year old little brother. Your teachers love you and you're a great student. Your favorite part of school is computer, art and of course lunch and free play. You have really pick up on Spanish and amaze me with how much you know (at least 3 full songs, many vocabulary words, and counting to 20).
New things you done this year:
This year you have tried and succeeded in Soccer, Karate and Swimming. In the past, you haven't been very interested in sports, but this year was different with you asking to try multiple new things. We will play soccer again this fall and I know you're going to do so well, your coordination and attention span is so much better. I look forward to cheering you on. You're a natural little fish in the water and are swimming like a pro. This Fall you will start Pre-K where we will be working on reading and writing. We are both excited for that.
What you like:
Games on the Ipad, watching Youtube Kids videos, playing super heros, playdates with friends, swimming, running and riding your power vehicles, taking a beloved toy to school to show your friends
Favorite Foods:
You'll eat most things we offer you but love all sweets, root beer, hamburgers, corn dogs, cauliflower, pickled beets and strawberries

You want to be a rock star or scientist when you grow up
You said you will marry Finley Seeman, but wish you could marry Mom :)
His best friends are Everett, Dash, Isaac, Finley & Marleigh
You say:
"Can you inside, outside this?" when clothes are inside/out :)
you still say"Can you up please me?" when you want picked up
You ask me to play cars, play super heros, ride bikes, no... play legos in a matter of seconds!
You asks us every night to tell you a "scary story of something real that happened to you"
You tell me when you leave college you're going to buy the house right beside Mom and Dad. :) XOXO
